Please tell me ...

Americans pay more for healthcare & have worse outcomes. Why not pool resources into single payer?

        This would never work for all the people that do not have this kind of money to set aside. Are you not for real? We definitely need a government sponsored health case system, or as we call it in Europe "sick-care-system". Healthy people do not need care.
        But the sick do. Again: let's be real!
        So, yes. We do need a government sponsored care system. Preferably a preventative care system. That would possibly save a lot of money also.

        In Australia they have a government supported insurance program. It's excellent. Why don't we use some of their programs over here? Finally, what about an HSA sponsored federal program. This would mean a high deductible 2,500 to $3,700 plan where by the individual can set aside funds in a seperate managed account to be used for wellness programs ie exercise, nutrition, doctors visits, etc. Once the deductible is reached then the program takes over?
