Why is Congress refusing to support Obama in his call to get 25% of our electricity from renewables?
To help address climate change, reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, reduce consumers electric and gas bills, and help turn our economy creating high-paying jobs at home, we must pass a strong national renewable electricity standard. Certain members of Congress have succumbed to special interests and are working against their constituents' interests to water the standard down to a meaningless level. Do not let them succeed.

Retool car factories to make wind turbines
Why can't we invest in clean energy by retooling plants that the car manufacturers are abandoning so that the plants can be used to make solar panels or wind turbine parts? There is already a skilled labor force that could be trained and it would help lift depressed areas of the country out of the economic slump.

What do you intend to do regarding the Peruvian Free Trade Agreement which is being used as justification for the massacre indigenous protestors who have been protesting the oil and mining projects in the northern Peruvian province of Bagua.
