        If you just start with the U.S. hotels. Require them to convert to the key system in the room like they have in most upscale European hotels. You put the key in the wall slot which activates the lights and power in the room. You leave the room and remove the key the power goes off. Savings!!!!

        How can the U.S. open conversations with other countries that have already made clean energy development a priority? ..and adopt some of the techniques that are working for them?

        Phrase the question in a positive way: How can the U.S. develop progressive, forward thinking energy programs like other countries (or even more progressive and forward thinking than other countries?)
